Idris Ibrahim (Managing Director)
Idris is a seasoned professional with experience in Accounting, Financial Auditing, Advisory services, Risk Assessment and Evaluation from the Oil & Gas and the Financial Sectors.
He holds a first degree in Accounting and Masters in Professional Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University (USA). He has worked with Ernst and Young(EY) in the US, KPMG and AMCON in Nigeria before venturing out as an Entrepreneur.
He is chiefly responsible for the strategic expansion of the organization, which has led to the creation of other successful financial firms under the parent company – Canary Point Corporate Services, where he serves as the Group Managing Director. He is committed to the highest ethical standards and brings a network of skills, contacts and resources to CPCSL
Tolu Oke (Chief Operating Officer)
Tolu serves as chief operating officer at Canary Point Corporate services with over eighteen years’ work experience in FMCG, Financial Services and Consulting. She holds a BSc in Botany from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and a masters degree (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK.
She has a Professional Diploma in HRM and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.
She has served in executive positions with multinationals such as Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Actis (Africa) Nigeria, a private equity firm. Prior to joining Canary Point Corporate Services, she worked in a HR Consulting firm and served as a director in Elbeo Limited, a Research and Strategy Consulting firm.
Emmanuel Bassey (Head, Strategy and Innovations)
Emmanuel serves as the Group Head, Strategy and Innovations refining the organisation strategy, brand management and marketing, including oversight of related implementation planning and execution activities.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from the Polytechnic, Ibadan and MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a certified Marketing Communication expert with local and international trainings from Advans Group Network, Paris.
Prior to joining Canary Point Corporate Services, he served in a Multinational Financial Institution, Advans Group, leading Consumer Research, Market Insights, Brand and Marketing strategy and Pioneered innovative financial products across Advans Group Affiliates.
‘Deola Ayibiowu (Chief Commercial Officer)
‘Deola Ayibiowu has over 20 years’ experience in the Banking and financial services sector, with consumer lending and retail, commercial, SME, business strategy and Microfinance operations.
Prior to joining Canary Point Corporate Services, He served as the Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer at Glaze Credit, Country Head of Financial Inclusion/Retail business at Letshego MFB (Formerly First Bank MFB), Nigeria. He has also worked in various leadership positions as Group Head, Retail Banking at Mainstreet Bank Plc, CEO of Skye Bank Multipurpose Cooperative & Thrift Ltd and Head of Direct Sales in Skye Bank Plc.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and MBA (General Management) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. MSc Marketing from University of Salford, UK. An alumnus of Robert Kennedy College, Switzerland. He is a certified Credit and Risk Manager (UK).
Opeyemi Adewuyi (Chief Risk Officer)
Opeoluwa is a seasoned professional with over 17 years’ experience from diverse financial institutions including other sectors ranging from Advertising, Asset Management, Agro-allied, Insurance, Leasing and Consulting.
He leads the preparation and implementation of strategic plans within the group overall risk management framework, including enterprise risk, credit risk, operational risk and market risk guidelines, policies and procedures.
He holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan. Ope has had extensive trainings, certification in risk management and coaching covering areas like Project management, Internal control, Relationship Management and Customer Service
He is a graduate of Business Administration of the University of Ado-Ekiti, a Certified Credit Analyst and a member of the Institute of Management.
Emmanuel Ukpebor (Head, Deposit and Investment)
Emmanuel is a consummate investment management professional whose experience cuts across portfolio management, corporate finance and investment.
He has over 15 years’ experience in investment management, Business development. A strategic thinker with an in-depth knowledge of Credit Administration, Portfolio and Relationship Management.
He is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Ado-Ekiti, MBA Finance, University of Lagos and also a Mini-MBA in Innovation & Disruption from Tekedia Institute.
He has interest in innovation, disruption and scale up in Financial Technology and Digital Banking, Agricultural Technology and Foreign Exchange.
Joseph Olaoye (Chief Technical Officer)
Joseph is a software engineering expert with over thirteen years’ of experience spanning Nigeria’s innovative technology landscape.
Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Computing from The Open University in the United Kingdom and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Information Systems Management from Roehampton University London.
He has worked with top companies like Konga.com, Flutterwave Korapay.com turning software requirements specifications into working software products and solution.
Temitope Mohammed (Head, Credit and Business Development)
Temitope is an astute Microfinance Professional; a versatile MSME Lending and Credit Risk expert with over thirteen years’ hands-on experience in Micro finance banking operations, credit management and administration.
He holds an MBA in Finance from (LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY), Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. He is a certified CIBN Microfinance member with a combination of local and international trainings from Access Holding Berlin Germany, Management Development Program (MDP) from Frankfurt School of Finance
He has served in executive management positions in financial institutions such as AB MFB, SPECTRUM MFB, PRIMERA MFB.
He is a member of many professional bodies including the Risk Management of Nigeria (RIMAN), Institute of Debt Recovery Practitioners of Nigeria (IDRPN).
